'Should be in!': Sunderland fans fume as Phil Parkinson snubs key men for Oxford United clash
Phil Parkinson has named his Sunderland side to face Oxford United – and fans have been quick to react.
For the third game in a row, the Black Cats are unchanged with Parkinson keeping faith with a successful starting line-up.
And fans had plenty to say on Parkinson’s selection call – and specifically the omissions of Declan John, Alim Ozturk and Josh Scowen.
Here’s what they were saying:

@adamhusband13 said: “Ozturk should be in. Also, when is that John kid and Scowen gonna play. Either way HA’WAY LADS”
@braddfearnleyy asked: “Have you forgotten about Declan John?”
@kieran130705 posted: “He should of put josh scowen in”
But @_JordanSimpson argued: “No reason to unless Dobson or Power were knackered. Both playing well.”
@GazJ20162017 commented: “Haway the lads. Win this and then we have two massive home games next to push into top two.”
@YesChargeUK added: “I doubt we will ever see Scowen, Semenyo or John start for us, unless we start losing again, so just leave things as they are at the minute”
@d_smark60 tweeted: “Problem with Ross was that he never seemed sure what his best team was. Can’t say that about Parky”
@alma54 posted: “Unchanged side, exactly what we need at this stage of the season, picking up 2+ points per game with a consistent starting eleven.”
