Non-league icon Marc White says he would hypothetically love to take control of Sunderland.
White is a businessman who is best known for being the founder, owner, chairman, former player and football manager of National League club Dorking Wanderers, who have seen their fortunes followed by fans up and down the land following several popular documentaries on their fortunes.

White, 50, is well-known to supporters in the United Kingdom and has appeared on several podcasts over the years including Undr The Cosh with former Sunderland striker Chris Brown and ex-Hull City man Jimmy Bullard’s new show.
During an episode of Bullard’s podcast, which can be found here, White said he would love to take control at a side like Sunderland and would be motivated to do well by the Black Cats’ incredible support.
Marc White: “Championship or above that. I'd love to run a big side. I'd love to run a big side like Sunderland. Like a Sunderland.”
Jimmy Bullard: “Why does that stand out for you?”

Hide AdMarc White: “I would love it because I feel like their fans deserve success. Do you know what I mean? I'm a big football person. I look at that club and I just think you could get decades of Sunderland support and never smile and I'd love to win for them. I look at clubs like that, that have got that, they've got that following regardless of winning or losing.”
Jimmy Bullard: “Yeah, yeah, got you.”
Marc White: “Do you know what I mean? I'd love to run a big club like that and make things happen.”
