Northern League: Boldon CA expecting problems against Seaham Red Star
There is a busy weekend lying ahead in Northern League Division Two.
In-form Boldon CA have been told they will face problems when they host Seaham Red Star on Saturday afternoon.

The Villa outfit have benefitted from an ambitious recruitment drive during the summer as the likes of Dunston UTS legend Liam Thear, Whitley Bay forward Callum Larmouth and former Red Star player Mark Robinson all joined the club. The impact they have made has been immediate and they head into Saturday’s game with Mark Collingwood’s men on the back of nine wins and one draw from their first ten games of the league campaign.

Red Star’s form has been patchy during the early months of the season with four wins from their ten games - but Boldon joint-manager Chris Spence has still fired a warning to his players ahead of Saturday’s clash.
He told The Echo: “Seaham are a big club and they’re always a team you can’t take lightly. Maybe they haven’t got off to their best start, but they’re a big club and every team in this league can cause you problems. We don’t rest on our laurels, though. We’ll enjoy this one and then it’s back to work and we go again.
