Honouring Brian Clough, the Sunderland favourite who ran defences ragged - photo gallery

The legend that was Brian Clough died 20 years ago today.

He played for the Black Cats for three seasons and scored 63 goals in 74 appearances.

Brian was badly injured in a Boxing Day match against Bury in 1962.

He tried to get his fitness back but had to retire - and so began a second legendary career as a manager.
