Durham County Council are running a campaign called he thrives from Sunday, November 1 until Monday, November 30.

The council have teamed up with local clubs and organisations to deliver activities across the county’s leisure centres and in local communities throughout the month, including table tennis, squash and pickle ball.

Free seven-day passes will also be available, giving people the chance to try out leisure centre facilities before committing to membership.

A series of wellbeing walks will also be taking place with selected family hubs, giving dads and their children the chance to get outdoors, get moving and spend some time together.
