Free bus travel for kids this half term
Families can save money this half term with free bus travel.
With the Autumn half term this week, families across the North East can take advantage of a bus travel offer.
From Saturday, October 24 to Sunday, November 1, up to three children aged 11 and under can travel free on any Arriva North East bus service when accompanied by a fare-paying adult or an adult with a valid travel pass.
A spokesperson from Arriva said: “Half term is the perfect opportunity for families to get out and explore somewhere new, and we want to make that easier by offering free bus travel for children across the North East over the half term.
“For kids, getting on a bus can be part of the fun, whether that’s grabbing a window seat, looking out for landmarks or simply enjoying the journey.
“It’s also a convenient way for families to get to local attractions and places to explore without worrying about driving or parking. We hope our offer encourages more families to hop on board and make the most of the half-term break.”
