Sunderland properties searched in hunt to find wanted Alan Jordan as £1,000 reward offered

A search is ongoing to find a 29-year-old violent offender who is wanted on emergency recall to prison after breaching the terms of his licence.

Alan Jordan is wanted by Northumbria Police but it is believed he has connections with Derbyshire, Manchester and Edinburgh.

A number of properties have been searched across Sunderland in a bid to locate the 29-year-old, who is aware he is wanted.

The independent charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information on the whereabouts of Jordan who is wanted for emergency recall to prison after breaching his terms of licence.Ruth McNee, North East Regional Manager at the charity Crimestoppers, said: “We are appealing to anyone with information on where Alan Jordan might be to do the right thing and to speak to our charity 100% anonymously.

"Alan is wanted for serious offences and your information may take a violent offender off the streets. If you think you know where he is, or think you might have seen him, please come forward and tell us what you know, however small you think the information is.
