What kids events are happening at Stack Seaburn this summer? Every event at the coastal site for families over the holidays

The summer holidays are underway and there is plenty going on across Sunderland for families to enjoy and with its street food, range of drinks and coastal location, Stack Seaburn is a top destination for families looking for an afternoon out the house.

The site has prepared a full schedule of events to keep kids entertained throughout the summer months with live music on offer every day in addition to activities specifically for the little ones.

This is week by week schedule for family events at Stack Seaburn this summer holiday.

Week of Monday, July 25

Wednesday, July 27 will see site favourite Kids Corner return to the site’s main square with children able to meet their favourite fictional characters in addition to live music and performances.

The following day will see an immersive pirate-themed show hit the site where laughs and entertainment have been promised between 12 noon and 2pm.

Week of Monday, August 1

In addition to live music which starts at 2:45pm, Stack will be hosting a magician who is ready to impress and surprise visitors of all ages on Monday. They will be wandering around the site from 12 noon until 2pm and 4pm until 6pm.

The next two days see Stack’s popular Summer Socials series continue with a Mickey and Minnie Mouse Disney theme’s event on Tuesday, August 2, and a Toy Story social coming the following day. Both events run between 12 noon and 2pm with kids able to enjoy meet and greets and games with characters.

Week of Monday, August 8

Monday, August 8, sees the Stack’s resident magician make a return between 12 noon and 2pm as well as 4pm and 6pm while the Summer Socials series continues across Tuesday, August 9, and Wednesday, August 10.

The first day of the two will see the site welcome Belle from Beauty and the Beast and characters from family favourite Frozen welcomed to Sunderland’s coastline.

The Disney theme will continue on the Wednesday when Conderella will be available for photos and games. Both social events will run between 12 noon and 2pm, as will the second pirate themed social on Thursday, August 11.

Week of Monday, August 15

Magic tricks will be the order of the day again on Monday, August 15, with the site’s magician once making another appearance during his usual hours before the summer socials begin again on Tuesday, August 16.

The lone social event this week will be a celebration of Disney’s newest smash hit Encanto. Meet and greets with characters, games and more are on offer.

The pirate show returns again on Thursday, August 18.

Week of Monday, August 22

Visitors on the opening day of the week will be treated to magic tricks throughout the afternoon before Paw Patrol and Rapunzel and Jasmine take over the site on Tuesday, August 23, and Wednesday, August 24, respectively as the social series continues. Another pirate session is scheduled for Thursday, August 25.

Week of Monday, August 29

The summer events close with an afternoon of magic on Monday, August 29, a second Mickey and Minnie social on Tuesday, August 30, and another celebration of Encanto on Wednesday, August 31.
