What time is Season 6 released in the UK?

Season 6 of Modern Warfare: Warzone is available to play now, and it launched on Tuesday 29 September.

Like previous seasons, the update went live for players in the UK at 7am.

What maps changes are in Season 6?

The biggest change to the Warzone map brought in by the Season 6 update sees the subway system opened up.

The system (officially known as the Metro in-game) allows players to fast-travel to one of seven stations dotted about the map.

To do this, you’ll need to find a station, and head inside it, down its staircases and over the turnstiles.

Make your way down to the correct platform (there's one for each direction) then wait for the train.

The train will skip stations that find themselves outside or amid the circle towards the end of matches.

Unlocking the space also gives players a brand new area in which to engage in combat.

But be warned, the subway trains won't move if you fight on board or between the train and the platform.

The Metro is intended to be a safe area in which players can reload, swap items and take a pause from the action on the surface.

How does the Battle Pass work?

It’s business as usual for Season 6’s new Battle Pass.

The new Pass consists of 100 levels and rewards, and can once again be progressed across all Modern Warfare multiplayer modes.

It will cost you 1,000 COD Points (you can buy 1,100 points for £8.49), and purchasing it will give you instant access to new operator, Farah (a central character in the game's single-player campaign).

If you opt for the more expensive battle pass bundle for (2,400 COD Points), you’ll unlock the ability to skip through 20 of the Pass’ 100 tiers.

At tier 100, all players will unlock Nikolai as an operator, a blueprint for the VSS Legendary Assault Rifle and a Halloween skin for the Cargo Truck.

Battle pass owners can also unlock Edward, a pet vampire bat that can be used against opponents - perfect for Halloween.

What new weapons are included?

Purchasing the Battle Pass will allow you to bolster your arsenal with new blueprint weapons in addition to the ‘Innocence Lost’ melee weapon and the four free blueprints on offer.

Blueprints available after Battle Pass purchase include three handguns, three SMGs, three assault rifles, two shotguns, three LMGs, three marksman rifles, and one sniper rifle.

The “VSS” Legendary Assault Rifle Blueprint is the reward for reaching tier 100 of the Battle Pass.

"Complete with dark tracer rounds, this Legendary blueprint of Assault Rifle Mike kits it for highly accurate semi-auto fire thanks to an included high-magnification Optic and SPP 10-Round Mags,” say Infinity Ward, “which convert the weapon to fire armour-piercing rounds with superb penetration power and damage.”

Where are the full patch notes?

Infinity Ward have detailed all changes brought in by Season 6 over on their blog, including notes on fixes and bug updates which help to improve the overall playing experience of the game.
