Broadcast this Saturday, November 28, this episode of the popular show is in aid of charity, with Stacie’s appearance raising funds for Amaze, which supports families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

Since rising to prominence as a finalist on Masterchef in 2009, Stacie, who now lives in Brighton, has released two cookery books, as well as appearing in a raft of TV cookery shows including Food Glorious Food, Sunday Brunch, Tried and Tested and as a current presenter on Channel 4’s How to Lose Weight Well.

Stacie, who was taught to cook by her nana in her Sunderland kitchen, said: “I was approached to be on the show, and when I found out it was for charity I said yes straight away.

"I’ve watched the show and played along at home so it was great to be in the studio. It was a really fun day and, most importantly, it raised money for a good cause. I’ve known Brian for years, he makes the best Yorkshire puddings, so it was great to partner up with him.”

Due to the pandemic, filming for the next series of How To Lose Weight Well has had to be postponed and Stacie’s deli, Eat Naked, has been closed since March.

She said: “The hospitality industry has ground to a halt and the shop has been closed since March, so I’ve adapted with an online shop. But I count myself lucky, I’m one small shop with a small staff, some people have lost so much more, so I’m thankful.”

Pointless Celebrities will be broadcast on Saturday, November, 28 at 5.40pm on BBC One.
