The 68-year-old ex-Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest boss is currently priced at 25/1

Another former Black Cats boss David Moyes, currently manager at West Ham United in the Premier League, is priced at 50/1 to make the switch north of the border.

Roy Keane (18/1) and Jack Ross (22/1) also feature in the market provided by Sky Bet.

Keane hasn’t worked as a manager since his departure from Ipswich Town back in 2011, whilst Ross is currently in charge of Celtic's Scottish Premiership rivals Hibernian.
