Sunderland were back in action on Saturday as they faced Everton in the third round of the FA Cup.
After a 1-1 draw across 120 minutes, Sunderland won 3-0 on penalties.
Here’s how we rated all the Black Cats involved on the day...
9. LW - Romaine Mundle
Was a real threat throughout the game and denied by one brilliant Pickford save in the first half. Put a big shift in and got into good areas, just couldn’t find the finish. 6 | Pic by Chris Fryatt
10. RW - Simon Adingra
Moved across to the right to accommodate Mundle’s return to the starting XI and struggled to impact the game as a result. Had one early shot blocked and tracked back diligently but a quiet outing in the main. 5 | Frank Reid
11. ST - Eliezer Mayenda
Had a good game. Used his skill to hold up the ball well at times and showed good composure to produce the assist for Le Fee. Unlucky not to score in the second half when he ran through on goal but fired just wide. 7 | Frank Reid

12. Sub - Dan Ballard
Defended well and won a lot of headers - looked tired by the end of the contest. 6 | Getty Images
