Sunderland suffered their second defeat of the Premier League campaign on Saturday night against Arsenal.
It was a tight affair, with Bruno scoring just moments after Enzo Le Fee missed a penalty. Bukayo Saka scored from the spot late on to secure the points for the visitors, with Reinildo shown a red card.
Here’s how we rated all the Black Cats involved on the night...
5. LB - Reinildo
Did some good defensive work but understandably given a really tough test by Bukayo Saka. Ultimately cost him as he was shown a second yellow for a foul late on. 5 | Chris Fryatt, Sunderland Echo
6. RM - Thomas Meunier
Had a steady game. Good defensively and in the air and had a couple of decent attempts blocked. 6 | Getty Images
7. CM - Granit Xhaka
Had a really strong game and was unlucky to be on the losing side. Move the ball forward well but was in top form out of possession, making good blocks and breaking up the play when he needed to. 8 | Chris Fryatt
8. CM - Noah Sadiki
Quiet in the first half but protected the defence well. Good in the second and moved the ball well without having much chance to break into the final third. 6 | AFP via Getty Images
