28’ Goal Millwall - but it’s offside!
Sunderland and Patterson have got away with one there.
George Honeyman thought he had opened the scoring after Flemming’s shot was spilled by the Black Cats keeper, allowing Honeyman to convert the rebound.
After a conversation between the linesman and referee, it was decided there was an offside in there.
The Sunderland fans cheer the decision like a goal.
37’ Bennett booked
Another booking for Millwall as Bennett brings down Hume when the full-back was trying to make a run out of his own half.
The home fans were then calling for Hume to be booked after a foul moments later but only a free-kick was given.
43’ Ballard rock solid
Ballard has been excellent so far against his former club and has just made another important block to send Bennett’s shot behind for a corner.
44’ Over from Cresswell
From the following corner the ball dropped to Cresswell who fired his effort over the bar from close range.
Half-Time: Millwall 0 Sunderland 0
Bennett is down and is going to be stretchered off after a challenge on Roberts at the end of the half.
