That’s according to Football Insider, who claims Spurs are eyeing candidates with experience of succeeding in the top-flight.

Benitez has been out of work since the turn of the year after leaving Dalian Pro and is said to be keen on the job, which was vacated by Jose Mourinho last month.

Bielsa is out of contract at Elland Road but is open to signing a new deal. Ex-Magpies captain Scott Parker has also been linked.
