Sunderland AFC fans are being offered their own personalised stone in new Legends’ Way which is set to transform Roker End of the Stadium of Light.
If you’re a Sunderland AFC fan – or know someone who is – now is the time to set your support in stone and become part of the club’s history.
Set to transform the exterior plaza at the Roker End ahead of the 2026-27 season, Legends’ Way will become a new supporter landmark which celebrates the players, fans and moments that define Sunderland AFC.

The development will complete the matchday journey from the city centre to the Stadium of Light via Keel Crossing, creating a lasting tribute on Wearside.
At the heart of the project will be the Wembley Path, commemorating the Club’s historic 1973 FA Cup triumph. This feature will connect the statue of legendary manager Bob Stokoe with a newly-commissioned statue of record appearance-maker Jimmy Montgomery, forming a powerful visual tribute to that iconic moment.
Play your part in legacy
Supporters can also be part of this legacy by purchasing an engraved stone within Legends’ Way. A range of options are available, with prices starting from £99 up to £500, and sizes ranging from 200mm x 100mm to 400mm x 400mm.

Each stone can be personalised with up to four lines of text, with a maximum of 15 characters per line, and selected designs also include the option to feature the Club crest.
Fans will also be able to choose the location area for their stone, whether as part of Wembley Path, surrounding the statues, bordering the SAFC Legend stones, or positioned across the wider plaza.
