The Met Office’s forecast is now available across the weekend with dry conditions expected for those hitting the streets. With no rain forecast from Friday lunchtime, Saturday, October 29 will see chilly conditions accompanied by cloudy skies. The weather service is expecting the temperature to feel like 12°C throughout the evening.

These dry conditions are expected to continue into Sunday, October 30, when temperatures fall to 10°C overnight. This is likely due to the slightly clearer skies predicted throughout the day which are set to continue into the day of Halloween itself.

The Met Office are predicting to see unsettled weather early next week, including the night of Halloween, Monday, October 31. Although this wet period is expected to be worst in the North West, clouds carrying rain are predicted to also hit the North East at around 9pm, although dry conditions are expected up to the late evening.

When will the sun set on Halloween weekend?

Those hoping for a truly dark night will be in luck, even though the clocks change on the Sunday morning of Halloween weekend. Saturday night will see the sun set just after 5:30pm on Friday, October 28, and Saturday, October 29. The night of Halloween itself will see full daylight come to an end at 4:30pm with no trace of twilight visible from 6:33pm.

This change is due to the clocks going back one hour at 2am on Sunday, October 30.
