Sunderland mam shows off her incredibly stylish home on Instagram - and shares tips on what to buy from Home Bargains, Asda and H&M

Leanne Elliott-Ramsey 40 from Wear View in Sunderland has gained more than 5,000 followers on her Instagram page, harthope.and.heels after posting photos of her stylish home.

The wedding planner regularly posts photos of new homeware products from shops including Home Bargains and Asda, and room ‘glow-ups’ to her thousands of followers who love her style.

Leanne, who has a 24-year-old son says she ‘just loves interior design’ and set up the page after family and friends encouraged her to share her passion.

She said: “I bought my first house at 21 and friends and family would always ask for style advice – they told me I should set up an Instagram page and it kind of took off.

"I don’t have loads of followers but it has a community feel, I engage with my followers and share ideas with others alike, I really enjoy doing it.”

The 40-year-old set up her page in 2019 and says she didn’t expect the account to be so popular.

Leanne, who works for the Gainford Group which is based at Chester-le-Street, now publishes regular posts with her purchases from High Street favourites including Home Bargains, H&M Home and Asda.

She said: “I post items that I like and would recommend to others, I never thought the page would do so well, if I had told myself this would happen when I first set up the page, I would have never believed it.

"I live with my husband and son and they’re both very laid back so they don’t mind me moving things and redecorating.”

The mam also does collaborations with different companies where followers can use discount codes for products and has recently transformed her son’s bedroom in her newest room glow up.

The Sunderland wedding planner added: “I think I’ve always had a kind of flair for interior design and I love interacting with others who have similar pages and will always offer advice to anyone who messages.

"I’ve got some new ideas coming up soon and I am looking forward to sharing more!”
