Hide AdSunderland Foodbank has its main office and food store at Coronation Street but does not distribute parcels from this address.
It works at the following food bank centres, according to the Trussell Trust:
Ashbrooke - Bethany City Church:Bede Tower, Burdon Road. Open from 4pm until 5pm, Mondays to Thursdays.
Millfield - City Life Church: Hylton Road. Open from 1pm until 3pm on Wednesdays and 10am until 12pm on Fridays.

Pennywell - St Thomas' Church:Petersfield Road. Open from 1pm until 3pm on Thursdays.
Shiney Row - St John’s: Church Street. Open from 11.30am until 1pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Farringdon Youth & Community Centre: Allendale Road. Open from 1.30pm until 3pm on Mondays and Fridays.

A charity in the heart of the Hetton community, the team has launched the Loaves and Fishes food bank as well as providing meals for those who need them from the community hall.
The Salvation Army, Southwick Community Project: Shakespeare Street.
Provides a number of services in the community, including a food bank.

Thorney Close Community food bank: Thorney Close Action and Enterprise Centre
Community run food bank which works with Thorney Close FC.
Open Wednesdays 10am – 12pm and Friday afternoons 1pm – 3pm.

Space4 Food Bank: Houghton.
The team is continuing to collect donations for food parcels, as well as moving its regular sessions – including crafting, men’s hour and woman’s hour – online.
