A North East designer outlet is hosting a range of events and activities for people of all ages this summer.

Dalton Park, in Murton, Seaham, has released a programme packed full of free family events, outdoor adventures and seasonal shopping just in time for summer.

Leading the line-up is the launch of Camp Dalton, Dalton Park's first immersive summer camp experience.

Running from 11am until 4pm every weekend in August, Camp Dalton will transform the centre into an exciting camp-inspired destination where children can embrace the great outdoors with a different themed activity each weekend.

Dalton Park's summer artisan market is also making a return on Saturday, August 15, and Sunday, August 15, bringing together more than 40 independent traders offering handmade gifts, artisan food and drink, jewellery, seasonal flowers and unique crafts.

Richard Kaye, centre manager at Dalton Park, said: "We're so excited to be launching Camp Dalton for the very first time this summer.

"We wanted to create something that gives families even more reasons to visit during the school holidays – somewhere children can get creative, embrace the outdoors and make lasting memories, while parents and grandparents can enjoy spending quality time together.

"Every visit to Camp Dalton will offer something different, from nature-inspired activities and crafts to exciting challenges and immersive experiences, so there's always a reason to come back.

"Alongside favourites like Strut Your Pup and our summer artisan market, there's plenty happening across the centre to keep the whole family entertained throughout the summer."
