From Sunderland to Vegas - duo hit jackpot with international entertainment award
The duo have represented Sunderland on the international stage.
A duo known for their energetic performances are bringing a top trophy back from Vegas to Sunderland.

Stephen Elms and Sharna Bowman BEM have been performing as He Knows She Knows for 10 years.
Over the past decade, the pair have performed at major venues and events across the UK, including London's O2 Arena, holiday resorts, theatres and corporate events.
Now, they’ve hit the jackpot in Vegas after winning the International Legacy Award at the International Entertainment Awards.
Their journey to Las Vegas began with victory at the Northern Regional Entertainment Awards in Peterborough, followed by success at the National Entertainment Awards, held at London's iconic O2 Arena.
Those achievements took the duo across the Atlantic to the International Entertainment Awards at The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, where they were presented with the prestigious International Legacy Award.
The event brought together an impressive collection of international entertainers, including world-renowned Céline Dion tribute artist January Butler, a star of the Las Vegas Michael Jackson Experience, and celebrated American magician and comedian Murray Sawchuck.
However, the trip was about far more than collecting an award.

During their time in Las Vegas, He Knows She Knows performed at several venues across the city, including Smelly Cat, Bottled Blonde and Jason Aldean's, as well as topping the bill at The Orleans Hotel & Casino.
Stephen, who is also known for his time as councillor in the city, said: “To come all the way from Sunderland to Las Vegas and win an international award is something we're immensely proud of.
"We've spent ten years travelling the country, performing thousands of miles from home, entertaining audiences and putting absolutely everything into what we do. To see that hard work recognised on an international stage is an incredible feeling.
"Standing on that stage in Las Vegas, accepting an International Legacy Award, surrounded by some extraordinary entertainers, was a moment we'll never forget.
"But what made the experience even more special was getting to perform at some fantastic venues across the city. To go from performing in clubs and holiday parks across the UK to headlining a show at The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is something we could only have dreamed about when we started.”

Sharna added: "And perhaps the most exciting part is what might come next. We've had several meetings while we've been out here that could potentially open doors to opportunities we could never have imagined. We can't say too much at this stage, and nothing is confirmed, but we're incredibly excited about what the future might hold.
"We're both incredibly proud to represent Sunderland on an international stage. We've always believed that talent from the North East deserves to be seen and celebrated, and hopefully our journey shows that you don't have to come from London, Los Angeles or Las Vegas to achieve something special.
"To celebrate ten years together by winning an international award in Las Vegas is something that will stay with us forever.
"And who knows? This might just be the beginning of an entirely new chapter for He Knows She Knows!"
