Big Asian Wedding Expo heading to Sunderland with luxury bridal runway
The free event takes place later this month.

Roker Hotel will host an afternoon of Asian wedding fashion, culture and inspiration on Sunday November, 22 from 2pm–6pm.
The Sunderland Asian Wedding Expo 2026 will bring together 50+ wedding suppliers under one roof for couples, families and visitors from across the North East.
A key attraction will be a luxury bridal showcase with a live runway featuring fashion specialists Alankar and Tushita Roy.
Visitors can discover wedding planning ideas and meet businesses offering fashion, beauty, photography, entertainment, décor, catering and other services.
Entry is free, but advance registration through Eventbrite is required.
The event welcomes people from all backgrounds, whether planning a wedding or simply interested in Asian bridal fashion and celebrations.
Hafeez Akram, event organiser, said: “We’re excited to bring the Asian Wedding Expo to Sunderland and create an event that celebrates Asian weddings, fashion and culture.
“With more than 50 suppliers and a luxury bridal runway showcase, we want to offer couples and families something special while giving wedding businesses the opportunity to showcase their talents.
