The 79 stores which will be open at The Bridges in Sunderland from April 12
Non-essential retailers at The Bridges will reopen on Monday, April 12, for the first time since January when the third lockdown was imposed.
While the shopping centre has been open throughout lockdown for essential shopping, many of its high street retailers were forced to close.
Along with hair salons, gyms and outdoor restaurants and bars, retailers will be able to reopen from Monday, April 9, in line with Boris Johnson’s roadmap to easing the lockdown plan.
A one-way system inside The Bridges will be in place along with enhanced cleaning and hand sanitiser stations.
Masks must also be worn throughout the centre by everyone who is not exempt.
