How you could give stunning police dog Buzz a forever home

German Shepherd Buzz has recently retired from his role as a police dog for Durham Constabulary and needs a loving home to put his paws up.

The seven-year-old is very active and strong-willed so he will need an owner who is confident with the breed and has previous experience.

The force says Buzz is happier with larger dogs who are well-balanced and sociable.

He loves nothing more than muddy puddles and a good back scratch although he cannot be rehomed in a household with children or small pets.

If you think you could provide a loving home for Buzz, call the Dog Support Unit’s training assistant, Ann Younghusband, on 01325742505 between 8am and 4pm on weekdays.

All interested individuals will be checked for their suitability before Buzz is allowed to be rehomed.
