Events will go on through the week

The fun has been continuing at Houghton Feast, with the annual community parade, ox roast and primary school race on day two of the festival.

Events got under way last night with entertainment, celebrations and the switching on of the illuminations.

All manner of activities are taking place over the weekend and into next week, including a fireworks display on Monday, October 9.
