Alex Neil’s pre-match press conference has been pushed back to 2pm ahead of the Black Cats’ Championship fixture against Norwich City.

The Black Cats boss was set to meet the media at 9am as normal but was held up by a meeting at the Academy of Light.

Reporters were then told the press conference would instead take place at 2pm with Neil.

The Sunderland squad are set to train on Friday morning as normal ahead of their match against Norwich, which has been brought forward to the earlier kick-off time of 12:30pm on Saturday after being selected for live TV broadcast.
