Tony Mowbray will hope that Dan Ballard has a big part to play after the break following his impressive but limited early showings, while Niall Huggins also underlined his potential in the win over Birmingham City in what was his first game for over a year.

6. AJI ALESE - 6.9
Only Ross Stewart has a higher average in our ratings than Alese, which underlines just how good he was after injury finally brought him regularly into the fold under Mowbray. It’s a relatively small sample size but reflects the tenacity and quality with which he played. To have him back fit after the break would be a major boost. Photo: FRANK REID
7. CORRY EVANS - 6.1
Has been a crucial part of the side that has thus far stayed away from potential relegation trouble. The only recognised holding midfielder in the squad, his importance has been underlined most clearly on the rare occasions he hasn’t played. Photo: Frank Reid
8. LEON DAJAKU - 5.3
There have been some big ‘almost’ moments for the talented youngster in limited outings, striking the post at Luton and just missing a big chance at Watford. As Mowbray has explained he’s at the moment caught between the wide areas, where he is most comfortable but where competition is fierce and up front, where there is little squad depth but he is understandably inconsistent.
