Sunderland were back in action at York City on Saturday afternoon.
An experienced XI ran out 4-0 winners in the first half, before Regis Le Bris changed his XI for the second. A young side battled well against experienced opposition, bouncing back from an early goal to score through Tom Proctor.
Here’s how we rated all the players involved in the second half...
9. RW - Felix Scott
Showed his talent with some nice touches but didn’t see as much of the ball as he would have liked and had one big chance go begging when he and Dinsdale got in each other’s way. 5 | Sunderland AFC
10. LW - Charlie Dinsdale
A real threat in the early stages of the second half. Drove forward with the ball very well and put in a lovely cross for Proctor to score. Defended well late on. 7 | Sunderland AFC
11. ST - Finn Geragusian
Didn’t get much sight of goal but put himself about well and held it up when he needed too. 6 | Finn Geragusian - Photo by Ben Cuthbertson
12. CB - Ben Kindon
One loose pass but generally steady having been brought on for Hjelde. N/A | Sunderland's Ben Kindon - Photo by Ben Cuthbertson
