Sunderland were back in action at York City on Saturday afternoon.
An experienced XI ran out 4-0 winners in the first half, before Regis Le Bris changed his XI for the second. A young side battled well against experienced opposition, bouncing back from an early goal to score through Tom Proctor.
Here’s how we rated all the players involved in the second half...
5. LB - Aji Alese
Will be pleased to get back on the pitch and looked steady. Some nice passes and good concentration to defend well. 7 | Getty Images
6. CM - Jaydon Jones
Got away with one loose pass late on but was tidy in possession for the most part. 6
7. CM - Tom Proctor
Took his header nicely and moved the ball very well early in the second half. Faded a little late on with his team but dug in well - strong showing. 7 | Tom Proctor
8. CM - Jack Whittaker
Had a shot very well blocked in the early stages of the half. Tidy without seeing loads of the ball. 6 | Jack Whittaker
