Sunderland made it two from two in the Europa League league phase with a 2-1 win over SCU Torreense in Leiria on Thursday night.
The Black Cats fell behind to a brilliant strike from centre back Volnei early in the game, but goals from Jules Ahoka and in stoppage time from Noah Saidki turned the game around.
Here’s how we rated all the Black Cats involved on the night...
13. Sub - Granit Xhaka
Completely changed the complexion of the game. Pushed Torreense back and delivered quality cross after quality cross. Assisted Sadiki for the winner. Captain’s impact. 8 | Sunderland Echo, Chris Fryatt
14. Sub - Enzo Le Fee
Brought a little bit of craft to Sunderland and his clever dink, not the first he executed well over the course of the game, was key to the winning goal. Strong impact on the left flank. 7 | Sunderland Echo, Chris Fryatt
15. Sub - Nordi Mukiele
Excellent impact, beating his man and crossing for Ahoka to equalise. Offered an outlet and much-needed intensity. 7 | Sunderland Echo, Chris Fryatt
16. Sub - Reinildo
Overlapped well and brought real drive to the left flank. A very good impact. 7 | Sunderland Echo, Chris Fryatt
