Sunderland returned to winning ways at the Stadium of Light with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Luton Town.
Goals from Enzo Le Fee and Wilson Isidor either side of the interval proved the difference and though Anthony Patterson made one excellent save from Carlton Morris, the visitors rarely threatened.
Here’s how we rated the Sunderland players...

9. Patrick Roberts
So unlucky not to end up with a goal contribution. Put in some great crosses and laid on a massive early chance for Isidor. Cracked a brilliant effort off the post in the second half. Luton really struggled to stop him. 8 | Patrick Roberts by Frank Reid Photo: Patrick Roberts by Frank Reid
10. Enzo Le Fee
A moment of real quality to put his side ahead. A couple of gorgeous backheels that had the Stadium of Light purring. Still suspect Sunderland would like to move infield and touch the ball a lot more. 7 | Getty Images
11. Wilson Isidor
It was arguably one of Isidor’s weaker games in that he often lost the ball and missed a couple of good chances, but his strike to put Sunderland two ahead was very good indeed. 7 | Getty Images
12. Eliezer Mayenda
Used the ball nicely without ever really having much chance to run at goal. 6 | Getty Images Photo: Stu Forster/Getty Images)
