Sunderland and hummel have unveiled the club’s new home kit for the 2026/27 campaign

Sunderland have unveiled their home kit for the 2026/27 campaign.

The shirt, which will go on sale online and in the club stores at 8am on Wednesday, is a tribute to the club’s FA Cup win over Preston North End at Wembley in 1937. The shirt will be priced at £65 for adults and £50 for juniors.

Hummel’s latest offering features a number of details that pay homage to the 1937 team, with the original city crest that adorned that shirt sitting on the back of the new shirt.

Free parking is available for customers from 5pm BST onTuesday 28 July until 8pm on Wednesday 29 July in the stadium’s Blue and Green car parks.

Sunderland have also announced the commission of a new mural in Roker dedicated to Eddie Burbanks, who was one of three goalscorers for Sunderland on the day of the 1937 final win. The mural will complete a trio in the city, alongside the Raich Carter mural in Hendon and Bobby Gurney mural in Silksworth. The shirt will go on sale as part of a broader range, with a warm-up jersey, 1/4 zip and anthem jacket also available. The new home shirt, like the away and goalkeeper editions for the new season, will go on sale without a shirt sponsor as the club continues talks over a new principal partner.
