A versatile midfielder, Wilding was most recently with West Bromwich Albion where he formed a key part of their under-23 squad.

The 20-year-old captained the Baggies’ second string at times last season, and was a regular in both Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy.

He has spent time on loan in the National League North with Leamington and played as a holding midfielder for Sunderland during the West Ham defeat.

KEVIN HEALY

Healy is another West Brom player, but has spent time on trial elsewhere in recent weeks – even playing against the Black Cats for Huddersfield Town in the recent Premier League Cup triumph.

The 19-year-old centre back is set to leave the Baggies at the end of the season and played at centre back for Sunderland during the 4-2 reverse at the Academy of Light.

TYLER FROST

A goal-scoring midfielder, Frost played in the number 10 role for Sunderland’s second string against the Hammers. He’s on the books of Championship side Reading, Frost has been in and around the Royals’ first-team squad – although is yet to make his debut – and has also benefited from a loan spell at Havant & Waterlooville.

Frost is renowned for his set-piece taking ability and has been a regular for Reading in the under-23 fold in recent years.

STAN ASOMUGHA

The third of the West Brom trio on trial at the Academy of Light, Asomugha played on the left flank against the Hammers.

He has regularly played for the Baggies in recent months, having been afforded plenty of opportunities in Premier League 2. Indeed, he has scored two in six appearances already this season.
