We’re into the final two weeks of the January transfer window – with in and outgoings still possible at Sunderland.
The Black Cats are still trying to make their first signing of the month, while they have been linked with several players in recent weeks. There has been interest in some of Sunderland’s first-team players, while some may be allowed to leave on loan. Here's a run-down of all the SAFC transfer stories during this month’s window so far:
17. Pierre Ekwah
Multiple Premier League clubs have been credited with interest in Ekwah, while Sunderland turned down an offer for the 21-year-old midfielder over the summer. The Frenchman has a contract with the Black Cats until 2027 and said earlier this season he wants to help Sunderland reach the top flight. Photo: Frank Reid
18. Luciano Rodriguez
At the end of last year the Sun reported Sunderland’s head of recruitment Stuart Harvey was in South America to watch Rodriguez. The 20-year-old plays for Uruguayan club Liverpool Montevideo, with several clubs said to be keen to sign him. Photo: ALEJANDRO PAGNI
19. Jobe Bellingham
Bellingham has made an excellent start to his Sunderland career, while it's easy to forget he's still only 18. Premier League clubs have been monitoring the teenager's progress, yet the midfielder was keen to move to Wearside in the summer, when he signed a long-term contract. Photo: Frank Reid
20. Andrey Santos
Sunderland are one of multiple teams credited with interest in a loan move for the 19-year-old Chelsea midfielder. The teenager has joined up with Brazil's under-23s squad for a pre-Olympic tournament in Venezuela this month. Photo: Tim Nwachukwu
