We’re into the final two weeks of the January transfer window – with in and outgoings still possible at Sunderland.
The Black Cats are still trying to make their first signing of the month, while they have been linked with several players in recent weeks. There has been interest in some of Sunderland’s first-team players, while some may be allowed to leave on loan. Here's a run-down of all the SAFC transfer stories during this month’s window so far:

13. Dan Neil
Multiple Premier League clubs are thought to be tracking the 22-year-old midfielder, who has a contract on Wearside until 2026. Like with Clarke, Sunderland are not in a position where they have to sell one of their best players, while Neil is determined to try and help his boyhood club reach the Premier League. 14. Amad
Sunderland were monitoring the player’s situation over the summer, following Amad’s impressive loan spell on Wearside last season. Beale recently said the Black Cats have made their position clear if Amad became available on loan again, yet it's thought the player will be given a chance at Old Trafford during the second half of this season. 15. Jewison Bennette
Sunderland have been weighing up whether to loan out some of their younger players who haven't received much first-team game time this season. That includes 19-year-old winger Jewison Bennette, yet Beale has said the club won't sanction any loan deals until the club have signed reinforcements. Photo: Frank Reid

16. Jay Stansfield
Stansfield was a player on Sunderland's radar over the summer, yet he instead opted to join Birmingham, where he'd be closer to his family, on loan from Fulham. The 21-year-old is said to be happy at St Andrew's, despite reports he could be loaned to another Championship club. Photo: Cameron Smith
