With a number of fringe players and youngsters handed a chance, it was an opportunity for many to catch the of the Black Cats’ boss ahead of the international break.

9. Dan Neil

10. Chris Maguire

11. Charlie Wyke
Really struggled to get into the game in the first half and was easily marshaled by the away defence. To his credit he came back strongly, producing a good assist for Maguire and showing good awareness to capitalise on poor goalkeeping and get on the scoresheet himself. 6 Photo: Frank Reid
