Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman complimentary of Sunderland ahead of clash
Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman has been speaking ahead of this weekend’s League One clash at the Stadium of Light.
And the 58-year-old former Rochdale boss had some complimentary words for the Black Cats, their fans and head Lee Johnson.
“Going to the Stadium of Light should lift anybody, players of our standard, and possibly that’s why Sunderland have had that problem the last couple of years that people are enthused by going there.

“It’s nice to be going to these places like the Stadium of Light but these clubs should be playing higher.
"Sunderland have got a marvellous fan base, great, passionate fans, they are a massive club that unfortunately isn’t where it should be in my opinion and I would like to see them restored to where they should be in the leagues.
“Lee has done well, he knows his onions, he has not gone into a team in freefall, they have got a good squad of players, a healthy budget, a marvelous training ground and he will believe he has a great chance of getting them promoted.”

Hide AdKyril Louis-Dreyfus is set to meet with former Sunderland owner Sir Bob Murray as he continues his rebuild of the club.
The 23-year-old completed his purchase of a majority stake in the Black Cats in February and has set about restoring some structure to the club’s behind-the-scenes operation.
While some key changes – such as the appointments of Lee Johnson and Kristjaan Speakman – came before the takeover was officially given the green light, the transformation of the Academy of Light setup has shown no signs of slowing down.
And as he continues to try and lift Sunderland from League One, Louis-Dreyfus is set to meet with ex-chairman Murray in the coming weeks.

"Our owner now, I really like him,” said Murray, speaking on BBC Radio Newcastle’s Total Sport.
“I'm going to support this young man and I'm going to do everything he would ask me.
“I'm going to get behind him. I'm not going to involved and things like that, but I'll do anything I can to move that club forward.
