Ajax manager Francesco Farioli has delivered his verdict on the reports linking Jordan Henderson with a move away from the club.
Sunderland have been linked with a move for their former midfielder, who came up through the ranks at the Academy of Light before joining Liverpool for around £20million. After a brief stint in Saudi Arabia, the 34-year-old joined Ajax last January.

According to De Telegraaf, Farioli knows that Henderson misses his family. They also add that the former England international has not yet found a home he considers suitable.
After stating that, they quote Farioli as saying: “I am not his agent. But if all goes well, that has now been resolved. Henderson wants to bring Ajax back to where the club belongs, at the top.”
