Lee Johnson’s side will host Northampton on the final day of the regular season this weekend, and could face either Lincoln, Blackpool, Portsmouth, Oxford or Charlton in the play-offs depending on various results.
The Black Cats ended a seven-match winless run by winning 3-1 at Plymouth last time out, courtesy of goals from Ross Stewart, Chris Maguire and Denver Hume, and will be hoping to gain more momentum before the season-defining fixtures.

Here’s how some fans reacted:
Malcolm Hewitt said: Lincoln City, although they are all big, mobile and tough and able to frustrate us on a good day. However, we demolished them at Sincil Bank and that memory should give us a psychological edge. Whoever it is, we’ll need to to organised and totally up for it. Let’s hope for sound refereeing too.
Danny Hogan agreed: Lincoln. They’re even more devastated than us at being in the play-offs now. Blackpool are probably too good over two legs. Pompey & Charlton bring baggage.
Steven Ward replied: Any. It’s a lottery which gives us a chance. If it was on form we would have no chance at all. This time around the lottery scenario suites us.
Brian Long commented: Oxford

Ian Taggart responded: It’s anybody’s for the taking the play-offs so I’m not bothered
Chris Coggins answered: No one I'd have preferred if they hadn't lost their bottle after Wembley and gone up automatically
Norman Smillie posted: It does not matter. We can beat any one of those that's in the play-offs if we are on form and no injuries. It's the last chance saloon or another season at least in League One. LETS JUST DO IT.
