Sunderland were held to a goalless draw with QPR at the Stadium of Light – but how did each player fare for the Black Cats?
In a game of few chances, Mike Dodds’ side stopped a six-game losing run, while keeping their first clean sheet since New Year’s Day. The result leaves Sunderland 12th in the Championship table with eight games remaining this season.
Here’s how Phil Smith rated the Sunderland players at the Stadium of Light:

9. Adil Aouchiche - 4
Though his set pieces improved late on and nearly led to a big chance for Ballard, he struggled to take his chance to start the contest. One or two nice touches but not able to really impose himself on the game and set piece delivery wasn’t great through the first half. 4 Photo: Frank Reid

10. Romaine Mundle - 5
Has a good cross on him and was able to show that on one occasion in the first half. Didn’t make too much of an impact in the final third but worked hard. 5 Photo: Frank Reid

11. Hemir - 4
Recalled to the starting XI in the hope that Sunderland could fashion some chances for him but really struggled to get into the game. Nicked the ball in one or two decent areas but couldn’t capitalise, and was taken off having not troubled the opposition goalkeeper. 4 Photo: Frank Reid

12. Chris Rigg (sub) - 6
Brought some energy on the right wing and showed one or two good touches. 6 Photo: Frank Reid
