The 19-year-old netted six times during a loan spell at Newport County last term, but is yet to get off the mark at Bristol City.

Bristol Live report: “The Robins are currently weighing up several bids for Antoine Semenyo, with the young forward set to head on loan this month.

“Sunderland have already declared an interest but Bristol Live understands that Doncaster Rovers are leading the chase for the attacker who will benefit from more first team game time elsewhere.”

On Semenyo, Phil Parkinson told the Echo: “He is a player we have looked at and has pace and power. He is someone we have been monitoring.”

League Two sides Swindon Town and Newport County are also interested.
