How Elliot Embleton fared on his Blackpool debut as Sunderland loan duo suffer varying fortunes
Elliot Embleton played over 80 minutes for Blackpool in what was his first appearance since leaving Sunderland on a half-season loan.
The 21-year-old teamed-up with the Seasiders on Deadline Day and was thrown straight into the side by manager Neil Critchley, starting against Ipswich Town.
But it wasn't to be a dream debut for Embleton, as Blackpool suffered a 2-0 defeat in East Anglia – as goals from Alan Judge and Luke Woolfenden secured a vital victory for the Tractor Boys.
Embleton did, however, rack-up some valuable game time as he featured for 82 minutes before being replaced by Bez Lubala.

Sunderland’s other loanee in action, George Dobson, enjoyed a better afternoon as his AFC Wimbledon side ran-out 3-2 winners against Wigan Athletic.
Dobson played 90 minutes for the managerless Dons, who came out on top thanks to Joe Pigott’s brace and a strike from Jack Rudoni. Curtis Tilt and Jamie Proctor netted for the Latics.
