Jelly babies have been unveiled as the nation's all-time favourite sweet.
A new survey by Perspectus Global research agency put the treat at the top of the list with fruit pastilles, wine gums, and cola bottles not far behind.
We looked back on the sweet shops of Sunderland over the years to see what they had on their shelves.
