We've got a verse or two from the past as we celebrate National Poetry Day.
The celebration on October 5 has been held since 1994 to inspire people to enjoy and share poems.
We are doing just that with Echo archive scenes from Monkwearmouth School, Broadway Juniors, Parkside Infants and Carley Hill Primary.
