All hail 'Karate Ken' - a brave 63-year-old shop keeper who saw off an armed raider who was trying to rob his shop has been heaped with praise.

Ken Khaira has become an instant city legend after video footage captured him dealing a swift kick to a failed robber who tried to hold-up his Londis store in Silksworth.
