Now, we’re delighted to share some of your gorgeous shots of the bridge at night, complete with lights and all!

Northern Spire welcomed traffic for the first time yesterday, after an official unveiling with Sunderland City Council leader Coun Graeme Miller and Mayor of Sunderland Lynda Scanlan.

Three Sunderland-built Nissan cars were the first to cross, before vehicles from across the city and beyond headed down to play their part in history.
