A brolly might be a good idea if you're heading to the Sunderland Airshow today.

Today the Met Office forecast is for unsettled weather, with scattered showers and fresh gusty winds, so if you're off to the airshow it might be wise to take your waterproof.

This morning is expected to be cloudy and breezy in the morning, with frequent heavy - possibly thundery - showers, or longer spells of rain.
