Hour-by-hour weather forecast as Sunderland temperatures set to reach 24°C on Sunday
Temperatures are predicted to hit 24°C in Sunderland as warm conditions continue on the hottest weekend of the year so far.
Met Office forecasters are predicting that temperatures will soar to 24C on Sunday, June 13, officially making it the hottest day of the year.
Wearside can expect bright sunny spells with some cloud throughout the day, with plenty sunshine into the afternoon.

Hide AdForecasters say temperatures should average at 23°C with a daily high of 24°C. Everywhere will feel warmer than Saturday, according to the Met Office.
The regional weather report for the North East said: “Although there will be some cloud at times there will also be long bright or sunny spells.
"Everywhere will feel warmer than Saturday, with many places becoming very warm. Maximum temperature 26°C.”
