Hour-by-hour weather forecast as Sunderland temperatures set to soar to 24°C
Sunderland is continuing to bask in warm weather, with maximum temperatures of 24°C forecast for the city on Wednesday (June 9).
It will be mostly sunny and warm throughout the day, with some cloud developing in the early afternoon.

Hide AdHowever, clear spells will return later and it will remain largely dry with minimum temperatures of 15°C forecast for the city as it will become breezier throughout the day.
It comes after experts at the Met Office said that in the next month ‘temperatures are likely to remain average to warmer than average with an increased risk of hot conditions’ – and the hot weather could continue into July.
The Met Office’s summary for the North East on Wednesday says: “Probably a warmer but rather cloudy day on the whole.
"Most areas should stay dry throughout, although there is a chance of isolated showers developing later.
