Sunderland woman whose body was found in village lane is named
The identity of a woman whose body was found in a village lane has been confirmed.
Northumbria Police said it attended alongside other emergency services just after 8am and has said it does not believe any third part is involved in the death.
It added the woman's family are being supported by specialist officers and was preparing a report for the coroner.
Today, Sunderland Coroner's Office has confirmed the woman has been identified as Louise Dover, who lived in Railway Terrace in New Herrington.
A post mortem examination is due to be carried out an an inquest will be opened in due course.
